With the goal of improving patient access to this robust method of contraception, Dr Gerber is also a preceptor (trainer) for the SOGC Intrauterine Contraception Insertion Preceptorship program. This program is designed for any B.C. licensed Family physician or FamilyPractise Resident .The program ireinforces confidence and helps gain expertise with a minimum of five supervised IUD insertions/ removals on live patient's .
